A main street business is a company that is doing $2.5M in revenue and below and then lower, middle market companies have revenue between $2.5 to $50M. One of the biggest trends that is occurring right now is the baby boomer tsunami, and refers to the transfer of wealth that the finance world is watching as baby boomers move into retirement age. And specifically in M&A, this trend is being watched because 50% of all small businesses are owned by the baby boomer generation. They have been the most entrepreneurial generation that has ever existed, far outweighing ownership in generation X and the millennial generation. And moreover, 75% of veteran owned businesses are owned by baby boomers. So this is a major transitional trend.
