Video Transcript: Hello my name is Chris Cantwell and I'm a Business Broker with Transworld Business Advisors of Denver. A little bit about me - I grew up in the foothills of Golden Colorado, went to Golden High School and then Metropolitan State University. After graduating from Metro, I joined a restaurant organization founded by innovative pioneer, Norman Brinker, called Brinker International. I worked with Brinker International for almost 15 years and spent a lot of time on the franchise side of the business working with small business owners and entrepreneurs who were growing their restaurant businesses. We did new restaurant development, we did mergers and acquisitions and we did ongoing training and support.
I also worked for another pioneer, Ted Turner. He had an organization called Ted's Montana Grill and I oversaw 10 of those restaurant businesses - that rounded up to about a $25 million portfolio. So while I have a lot of experience on the restaurant side of the business, I like working with entrepreneurs with any business that they operate. So we work the full spectrum of businesses and I like working with a variety of businesses.
Right now in Denver the market is thriving. There are more good buyers out there than there are good business to sell. It is a great time for business owners to think about an exit! Colorado is home to me and it is what I love and it is where I will always remain. When I am not working you'll see me on the slopes or on the golf course with my two daughters who also love to ski and golf!
