Video Transcript: Al Fialkovich here, I am the Owner and Managing Director of Transworld Business Advisors of Denver. I started this business with my wife and business partner, Jessica Fialkovich. We came to the business brokerage industry after having previously sold one of our businesses and realizing it was an underserved market. It occurred to us that there was real opportunity to be had in the industry and that we could really help a lot of small business owners like ourselves navigate this process better.
Before opening Transworld Denver, I bought and sold multiple companies and have been able to accumulate extensive financial, sales and operational experience from my ownership ventures as well as previous roles with a Fortune 100 company and a real estate development firm with a 1 billion dollar budget. I believe that my background is the key to the services I offer customers, since I have been in their chair and have the familiarity with making decisions from an owner’s perspective, I can guide people through the process, knowing their point of view.
Over the years I have taken inspiration from small business communities across the United States. However, Colorado has inspired me the most and is why my wife and I have set up shop here for the last 10 years, with a brief stint in Naples. Being able to conduct operations in the alluring landscapes of Colorado, keeps life and business exciting for me. On the one hand I get to witness the immense growth Denver is currently experiencing, but I also get to conduct calls during a visit to Aspen and can be in the mountains in one hour.
Since establishing Transworld Denver, we have grown it from a two-person owner/operator business to the top brokerage firm in Colorado, with a team of 8 brokers. I have now sold businesses in almost every industry imaginable. Currently I focus on larger operations in the B2B and B2C service industry as well as businesses in manufacturing and distribution. Our company as a whole provides a comprehensive range of services for small businesses ranging from small owner/operator to large 100 person operations with millions in revenue.
